Directives Issued to Municipal Officials: BJP City President and Corporator Shatrughna Kate Conducts Inspection
Pimpri-Chinchwad | BJP City President and Corporator Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate today conducted a personal inspection of the Shivchhatrapati Linear Urban Garden, located in Pimple Saudagar Ward No. 28, accompanied by officials from the Garden Department and the Civil Garden Department. During this inspection, necessary instructions were issued to the officials regarding cleanliness, beautification, and the enhancement of greenery within the garden.

Emphasizing the proper management of the horticultural lawns within the garden, Kate directed that overgrown trees be pruned. Furthermore, he instructed that the debris and waste accumulated in the garden—resulting from leaf shedding—be cleared immediately. He also issued instructions to the officials regarding the planting of new lawns, the cultivation of colorful flowering plants, and large-scale tree plantation to make the premises more attractive and aesthetically pleasing.
Placing special emphasis on regularly watering the planted trees to keep them lush and healthy, Kate directed that immediate measures be implemented to ensure citizens enjoy a clean, beautiful, and verdant environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Shatrughna Kate said, “The Shivchhatrapati Linear Garden serves as a vital recreational hub for the citizens of the Pimple Saudagar area. Therefore, maintaining cleanliness, beautification, and greenery within this garden is absolutely essential. Necessary instructions have been issued to the concerned departments to make the garden even more beautiful and attractive. Providing a clean and lush green environment to the citizens remains our top priority.”
Also present during this inspection were Corporators Mrs. Anitatai Kate and Mrs. Kundatai Bhise, who offered their own suggestions to the Garden Department officials regarding the maintenance and beautification of the garden.
