Dr. Sushant Patil Group Champions Trophy Concludes with Grand Celebration of Cricket and Camaraderie
Staff teams from multiple institutions showcase talent and teamwork as DYPTC Legends and DYPTC Women Warriors clinch championship titles
Pimpri : The Dr. Sushant Patil Group Champions Trophy concluded on a high note, bringing together staff members from various institutions in a spirited celebration of cricket, teamwork, and unity. More than just a sporting event, the tournament became a platform to strengthen bonds, showcase talent, and promote a culture of enthusiasm and collaboration among staff.
The championship witnessed energetic participation from multiple men’s and women’s teams. The men’s teams included DYPIMED Smashers, DYPTC Legends, Seam Super Strikers, DYPTC Titans, DYPCOE Gladiator, HO Elite, DYPTC Lion’s (H&C), and DYPCOEI Panther. The women’s teams featured HO Thunderbirds, DYPIMED Smashers, DYPTC Women Warriors, and DYPCOEI Women Tries. Every team displayed remarkable sportsmanship and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
In the Champions Category, DYPTC Legends emerged as the Men’s Champions with an outstanding performance, while DYPCOE Gladiator secured the Men’s Runners-up position. In the Women’s category, DYPTC Women Warriors clinched the championship title, and HO Thunderbirds finished as Runners-up after a commendable effort.
Individual performances added great excitement to the tournament. Akash Gaikwad was named Man of the Match in the Men’s category and also received the Best Batsman award for his consistent and impactful batting. Aisha Singh earned both Man of the Match and Best Batswoman honors in the Women’s category, showcasing exceptional all-round performance. The Man of the Series award was presented to Deepak Khelare in the Men’s category and Suchitra from HO in the Women’s category. Vitthal Raut was recognized as the Best Bowler among men, while Pretti received the Best Bowler award in the Women’s category.
