Pimpri–Chinchwad | Against the backdrop of the upcoming Pimpri–Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, Ward No. 28 candidate Shatrughan Kate has adopted a people-centric campaign strategy by directly engaging with residents through visits to various housing societies in the ward. Moving beyond conventional campaigning methods, Kate chose face-to-face dialogue to understand citizens’ concerns, expectations, and suggestions at the grassroots level.

During these interactions, society residents highlighted key civic issues such as water supply, internal roads, drainage systems, waste management, parking facilities, and security. Kate attentively noted each concern and assured residents that these issues would be addressed on a priority basis after the elections. Emphasizing his development-oriented approach, he stated, “Development should not remain on paper; it must be visible in the everyday lives of citizens.”

Residents expressed that such direct communication helps build trust and confidence between elected representatives and citizens. With a clear understanding of local issues, a commitment to continuous engagement, and a promise of transparent governance, Shatrughan Kate has been receiving a positive response at the society level.
