BJP’s Strong Panel Led by Shatrughan Kate to Contest and Win on Development Agenda

Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar, Pimpri-Chinchwad: With the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2026 approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a strong and experienced panel from Ward No. 28, Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar, under the leadership of Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate. Under the banner of ‘Mission-PCMC’, the panel has resolved to contest the elections on a comprehensive development agenda for the ward.

The BJP’s official panel includes (A) Mr. Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate, (B) Mrs. Anita Kate, (C) Mrs. Kunda Bhise, and (D) Mr. Sandesh Kate. Highlighting people-centric decisions taken by the BJP governments at the Centre and the State, along with the developmental works carried out during the party’s tenure in the municipal corporation, the candidates have intensified their election campaign.

While filing his nomination, Shatrughan Kate expressed gratitude for the trust shown by the residents of the ward. “On the strength of our experience, honest work, and strong bond with the people, we are fully committed to the development of the ward. This is not merely an election, but a fight to uphold the firm trust built with the citizens,” he said.

Emphasising key issues such as infrastructure development, civic amenities, sanitation, traffic management, water supply, and other basic facilities, Kate expressed confidence that all four BJP candidates would be elected with a clear mandate.

“We firmly promise transparent, people-oriented, and development-driven governance while doing justice to the trust of every citizen. With public participation, we will ensure the holistic development of the ward and take Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar to new heights of progress. Development of the last citizen remains our core resolve,” he added
