A Candidate Committed to the Holistic Development of Ward No. 26 – Tushar Kamthe

Gardens are not merely places that enhance the beauty of a city; they are vital public spaces that offer citizens a chance to breathe freely amid the stress of daily life. Shaheed Ashok Kamthe Garden located in Pimple Nilakh of Ward No. 26 is a prime example of this. Candidate Tushar Kamthe has played a significant role in accelerating the overall development of this garden.

A substantial fund of ₹9 crore was made available for the beautification and modern development of the garden, out of which a special fund of ₹2 crore was sanctioned through the initiative of Tushar Kamthe. Through this funding, the garden has received a new look and several facilities have been made available for citizens.

Separate jogging tracks have been developed for youth and senior citizens, a spacious yoga area has been created for mental peace, attractive play equipment and open play areas have been provided for children, and dedicated seating arrangements have been made for senior citizens to relax and socialize. Additionally, an open theatre facility has been developed to provide a platform for artists. As a result, the garden has evolved from being just a place for walks into a hub of social and cultural interaction.

Meanwhile, Tushar Kamthe has also made a substantial contribution to the development of basic infrastructure in Ward No. 26. Road development works have been carried out using a fund of ₹14.80 crore, and an important 24-meter-wide Development Plan (DP) road within the municipal limits has been developed in a smart manner. Road widening has reduced traffic congestion and made commuting more convenient for citizens.

Keeping in mind the growing population and future needs, Tushar Kamthe is striving to improve the quality of life of citizens through planned and systematic development works. His commitment to achieving the holistic development of Ward No. 26 under Mission – PCMC is instilling confidence among citizens, further strengthening his identity as a development-oriented leader.
