Against the backdrop of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s general elections, BJP City President Shatrughan Kate exercised his right to vote today. He cast his vote peacefully and enthusiastically at the polling booth in his ward, Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani.
Due to the municipal elections, the political atmosphere in the city has intensified, with office-bearers, party workers, and candidates from various parties visiting polling centers since morning. The presence of Shatrughan Kate generated special enthusiasm among party workers.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Shatrughan Kate said, “Voting is the sacred duty of every citizen. To strengthen democracy, citizens should come out in large numbers to vote. It is extremely important to choose capable and stable leadership for the development of Pimpri-Chinchwad city.”
Since morning, crowds of voters have been seen at various polling centers across the city. To ensure the smooth conduct of the voting process, the administration has made tight security arrangements and provided all necessary facilities.
