PCMC: Decisive step on traffic congestion in Moshi Ward-2!
Corporator Nikhil Borhade's follow-up for 'No Parking' zone

Pimpri-Chinchwad: To control the increasing traffic congestion, illegal parking and accidents in Moshi Ward No. 02, Corporator Nikhil Borhade has taken the initiative and presented concrete demands to the Transport Department. It has been demanded to declare a 100-meter area ‘no parking’ from major signal intersections and permanently ban heavy vehicles on Borhadewadi 31-meter road.

Corporator Nikhil Shivaji Borhade has taken the initiative to curb the increasing traffic congestion, illegal parking and accidents in Moshi Ward No. 02. Borhade submitted a written statement to the Pimpri Chinchwad Transport Department after discussing the relevant issues under the guidance of Honorable Mahesh Dada Landge.
This statement was given to Hon. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Department, Pimpri Chinchwad Police. In this, a demand has been made to declare a ‘no parking’ zone on both sides at least 100 meters from every major signal crossing in the ward.
At this time, Corporator Borhade has demanded the immediate implementation of the following measures – Declaring a clear ‘no parking’ zone up to 100 meters from all signal crossings and marking the roads with boards. Appointing traffic police personnel for regular action against vehicles violating the rules. Installing CCTV and digital signboards at necessary places. Declaring a permanent ‘no parking’ zone for heavy vehicles on the 31-meter road at Borhadewadi.
Inspection of the traffic department…
In this regard, PI Ramchandra Ghodke of the traffic department has inspected the site and the necessary action will be taken at the relevant places soon, the Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police has informed. It is hoped that this initiative by Corporator Nikhil Borhade will help in smoothening traffic in the Bharat Mata Chowk, Laxmi Chowk, Shriram Chowk and 31 meter road areas of Moshi-Borhadewadi area. Citizens will also get great relief from this decision.
