The actress recently sparked controversy after speaking about her past allegations against producer Sanjay Kohli, leading to widespread reactions across social media and the entertainment industry.

Amid the growing debate, Shinde has now shared a new social media post in an apparent attempt to clarify her position and respond to the ongoing discussions.
In her post, the actress indirectly criticized public relations campaigns and certain sections of the media, urging people not to spread false stories or draw incorrect conclusions regarding the matter. She stated that while everyone is free to do their work, misinformation and fabricated narratives should be avoided.

Shinde also shared her understanding of what constitutes sexual harassment, explaining that any sexually inappropriate behavior that makes a person feel uncomfortable, frightened, humiliated, or distressed can be considered harassment. According to her, such behavior may include unwanted physical contact, inappropriate comments, offensive messages, attempts at unwanted intimacy, or obscene gestures.
The actress further emphasized that people should refrain from creating and circulating their own versions of events. Ending her message with the phrase “Jago Grahak Jago,” she also tagged producer Binaifer Kohli and Sanjay Kohli in the post.
The controversy traces back to 2016, when Shilpa Shinde abruptly exited Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. At the time, the show’s producers accused her of misconduct, while Shinde alleged that she had not received proper payment and had been subjected to mental harassment.
In 2017, she publicly accused Sanjay Kohli of sexual harassment, a claim that generated significant attention within the television industry.
