Satara, Maharashtra:
A shocking incident surfaced on Friday when a female doctor working at the Sub-District Hospital in Phaltan, Satara, allegedly committed suicide in a hotel. The incident has sent shockwaves across the state, drawing widespread reactions.

The young doctor reportedly ended her life after leaving a suicide note, in which she made serious allegations against PSI Gopal Badane and Prashant Banker.

Early on Saturday, the Satara police arrested Prashant Banker in connection with the case. Meanwhile, the accused’s family has raised serious allegations against the deceased doctor. According to Prashant’s sister, “The doctor was allegedly torturing and blackmailing my brother, and had proposed to him 15 days ago.”

She further added that the doctor was close to their family, often visiting like a sister, and confided about work-related stress. Her brother had explained to the doctor that her proposal was inappropriate, after which the matter was believed to be closed.

The sister also mentioned a minor dispute during Laxmi Poojan, when her brother had taken some photographs of the doctor which did not turn out well, leading to a brief argument. Later, when her brother was visiting a sick friend, the doctor allegedly repeatedly called and harassed him, claiming, “You don’t care about me,” amounting to alleged blackmail.

The case continues to develop, with the police investigating the circumstances leading to the tragic death of the doctor.
