Bollywood veteran Paresh Rawal has reportedly turned down a role in Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film ‘Drishyam 3’, stating that the character didn’t appeal to him. Known for his versatility in comic, negative, and supporting roles, Rawal has consistently entertained audiences with his performances and speaks candidly about his choices.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal said, “Yes, the makers approached me, but I felt the role wasn’t right for me, it didn’t excite me.” Despite declining the role, the actor praised the film’s script, calling it “very good” and expressing admiration for its storytelling. He added, “No matter how good the script is, your role in it must also feel right, otherwise it’s not enjoyable.”

Rawal is currently in the limelight for his performance in ‘Thama’, starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Earlier, he had also garnered attention for ‘Hera Pheri 3’, initially declining a role but later agreeing to participate.

‘Drishyam 3’, the sequel to the highly successful ‘Drishyam’ (2015) and ‘Drishyam 2’, is a Hindi remake of the 2013 South Indian film starring Mohanlal. Fans had speculated that Paresh Rawal would appear in a significant role in the new installment, but he chose to pass while still appreciating the storyline.
