Elevating Education, Soaring Towards the Future: DYPIU Unveils Its New 7th Floor
Pune | D. Y. Patil International University (DYPIU), Akurdi, Pune, achieved another significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and infrastructure development with the inauguration of its newly developed 7th Floor.
The state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Shri Deepak Kumar Shrivastava, Chief General Manager and Zonal Manager, Punjab National Bank, Mumbai, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
The inauguration ceremony was held under the aegis of Hon’ble Dr. D. Y. Patil, Founder President, D. Y. Patil Group, and under the guidance of Hon’ble Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, Chancellor, DYPIU. The occasion was graced by Hon. Shri Satej D. Patil, Vice-President, Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan; Shri Tejas S. Patil, Trustee, Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan; and Prof. Manish Bhalla, Vice Chancellor, DYPIU.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of world-class academic infrastructure in fostering innovation, research, creativity, and holistic student development. They emphasized that the newly inaugurated facility reflects DYPIU’s continued commitment to providing a dynamic and future-ready learning environment for students, faculty members, and researchers.
The newly developed 7th Floor features modern Computer Laboratories, an advanced and spacious Bioengineering Laboratory, and well-equipped classrooms with a seating capacity of 120 students each. These facilities are designed to enhance experiential learning, support cutting-edge research, and promote academic excellence across disciplines.
The event was also attended by Rear Admiral Amit Vikram (Retd.), Campus Director, D. Y. Patil Educational Complex; Shri B. H. Sharma, Chief Finance Officer, DYP Group; and Professor Beeran Moidin, Registrar, DYPIU, along with university officials, faculty members, staff, and students.
The inauguration marked a memorable chapter in the university’s growth journey, reinforcing its vision of creating a vibrant academic ecosystem equipped to meet the evolving demands of higher education and industry.
