Dr. Suhas Kamble’s Prompt Public Service Amidst Heavy Rain!
Traffic on Pune-Nashik Highway Restored Through Dr. Kamble’s Initiative
Pimpri-Chinchwad | Correspondent: Heavy rainfall had caused significant waterlogging on the Pune-Nashik Highway, specifically in the area opposite the Sadhuram Garden Mangal Karyalay. The accumulation of water disrupted traffic, causing major inconvenience to motorists and citizens alike. Upon learning of the situation, Corporator and City Improvement Committee member Dr. Suhas Kamble immediately coordinated with the relevant officials from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and rushed to the site.

Under Dr. Kamble’s guidance, the Municipal Corporation promptly cleared the roadside drains using a JCB machine. Arrangements were also made to open manholes and facilitate the drainage of the accumulated water. Thanks to this swift action, the water level on the highway began to recede within a short time, and traffic gradually returned to normal.
Meanwhile, the heavy rainfall had caused various issues across Ward No. 8, including waterlogging, muddy roads, and clogged drains. Dr. Suhas Kamble’s team has been working round-the-clock for the past two days to resolve these issues immediately. Operations—ranging from water drainage to addressing citizens’ complaints and implementing solutions—are being carried out on a war footing.
Citizens have expressed satisfaction seeing the Corporator personally on the ground, monitoring the situation and issuing appropriate instructions to the administration. Many residents remarked, “The Corporator and his team stood by us during this difficult time.” Local citizens have expressed appreciation for Dr. Suhas Kamble’s public service, recognizing him as a proactive and sensitive public representative.
“While working under the guidance of MLA Maheshdada Landge, our primary duty during emergencies like heavy rainfall is to ensure the safety of citizens and keep daily life running smoothly. We focus on stepping out into the field to resolve issues immediately rather than leaving them confined to paperwork. My team and I will continue our service without interruption until every citizen—including those in Ward 8 and across Pimpri-Chinchwad—receives relief.”
