Welfare Initiative: Overwhelming Public Response to Comprehensive Health Check-Up Camp

Pimpri-Chinchwad:
An eight-day Comprehensive Health Check-Up Camp jointly organised by the Chikhali–Moshi–Charholi–Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation and Vitthal Multi Speciality Hospital, Tupe Vasti (Pune–Nashik Highway) is receiving an enthusiastic response from citizens. The camp is being conducted from Sunday, December 14 to Sunday, December 21, 2025.

The health camp was inaugurated on Sunday, December 14, by Padma Bhushan Dr. Girishji Prabhune and noted labour leader Sachin Bhaiyya Landge. Several dignitaries from various fields, social workers, and a large number of citizens were present on the occasion.

The camp offers free medical check-ups and treatment at concessional rates for a wide range of diseases, including cancer screening, gynaecological check-ups, spine and bone disorders, paediatrics, dermatology, and general medicine. Specialist doctors from various medical fields are available on-site to examine and guide patients.

On the very first day, as many as 379 residents from nearby housing societies availed themselves of medical consultations and treatment. The camp will continue for the next seven days, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and organisers have appealed to citizens to make maximum use of this opportunity.

Sharing his views, Sanjeevan Sangale, President of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, said,
“This health camp is extremely important for the well-being of society residents in Pimpri-Chinchwad. With expert doctors for various diseases available under one roof, citizens should definitely take advantage of this health initiative.”

The initiative, which is proving beneficial from a public health perspective, has been widely appreciated by local residents. Organisers expect an even stronger response in the coming days.
