Former Opposition Leader Nana Kate has been appointed as the Campaign Chief for the upcoming Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Elections 2025–2026 on Thursday (14th). The appointment letter was issued by State NCP President Sunil Tatkare, following the recommendation of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
Nana Kate, a former corporator and ex-Opposition Leader, has been entrusted with this significant responsibility to strengthen the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and reclaim its stronghold in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
According to City NCP President Yogesh Behl, this appointment is strategically important considering the political scenario in Pimpri, Chinchwad, and Bhosari assembly constituencies ahead of the municipal elections.
