DYPCOE Swimmer Parth Kate Shines with Three Medals at SPPU Inter-Collegiate Swimming Meet
PUNE | Parth Kate, a student from the Department of Civil Engineering at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering (DYPCOE), Akurdi, delivered a stellar performance at the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Inter-Collegiate Swimming Competition held at Tilak Tank near Deccan Gymkhana on September 16.
Demonstrating exceptional speed and endurance in the Backstroke discipline, Parth bagged three medals for his institute:
🥈 Silver Medal in 50m Backstroke
🥉 Bronze Medal in 100m Backstroke
🥉 Bronze Medal in 200m Backstroke
His remarkable triumph across multiple events brought immense pride to the institution. The achievement was accomplished under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Abaji Subarao Mane, Director of Physical Education & Sports at DYPCOE.
