New Delhi: A SpiceJet flight operating from Delhi to Pune reportedly faced a technical problem after passengers boarded the aircraft, triggering panic and discomfort among those on board. The cabin temperature allegedly rose sharply, leaving several passengers struggling with the heat and experiencing difficulty breathing.According to passenger accounts, the aircraft was carrying people from different age groups, including elderly passengers. Soon after boarding, the temperature inside the cabin reportedly became unbearable. Passengers were allegedly drenched in sweat and complained of severe discomfort and breathing difficulties.

Despite the situation, the aircraft was reportedly moved towards the runway. Passengers then raised concerns and objected to the flight taking off in such conditions. The incident reportedly led to chaos inside the aircraft as passengers demanded that the issue be addressed before departure.

Passenger Leshpal Jawalge shared a video of the incident on social media and described what happened inside the flight. According to his account, passengers repeatedly raised their voices and opposed the aircraft taking off while the cabin remained extremely hot.
The passenger further alleged that the pilot and crew initially attempted to control the situation and asked passengers to remain quiet. According to the passengers, the situation became more serious when it was subsequently realised that the aircraft had a technical issue.
Following the passengers’ objections, they were reportedly taken out of the aircraft. The prompt intervention prevented the situation from escalating further and potentially avoided a major incident.
Passengers have accused SpiceJet of providing poor-quality service and putting their safety at risk. Following the incident, some passengers reportedly staged a protest at the airport and demanded strict action against the airline.
Passengers have also urged the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation to take serious note of the incident, investigate the circumstances surrounding the flight and take appropriate action if any safety or operational violations are established.
