120 Bahadur Box Office:
Farhan Akhtar’s much-anticipated historical war drama 120 Bahadur finally hit the theatres this Friday. The film has been receiving strong attention due to its patriotic storyline, powerful cast, and large-scale production. Released alongside the comedy entertainer Masti 4, the film still faces almost no major competition at the box office this week — giving it a strong chance to attract audiences.

Despite the buzz, 120 Bahadur has registered a slower-than-expected start, earning around ₹2.35 crores on Day 1. Including the paid premiere collections of around ₹10 lakhs, the total opening stands close to ₹2.45 crores.

With an estimated budget of ₹80 crores, the film needs strong weekend growth to stay on track. The next two weekends are crucial, especially with several big releases lined up in the coming days.

The film is based on the heroic 1962 Battle of Rezang La, showcasing the bravery of Indian soldiers. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh, while the film is directed by Rajneesh Ghai and stars Rashi Khanna in the lead role.

Even though Day 1 numbers are modest, the historical theme, emotional appeal, and strong cast may help the film pick up momentum over the weekend. The box office performance now depends heavily on audience response in the next few days.
