Moshi Garbage Depot Incident: Commissioner interacts with relatives of citizens trapped in the building

Pimpri | Following the incident at the Moshi garbage depot, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi visited the site today and spoke with the relatives of the citizens trapped inside the building. He assured them that the administration stands firmly by their side during this difficult time and that rescue teams are making ceaseless efforts to bring the trapped individuals out safely. He urged the relatives to remain patient until the rescue operation concludes, expressing confidence that those trapped would certainly be rescued safely.

Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi briefed the relatives on the ongoing rescue operations. He stated that all municipal departments, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the Indian Army, the Fire Department, the Police, and other relevant agencies are conducting the rescue operation with full capacity and excellent coordination. He emphasized that this is a critical time and that every possible effort is being made to rescue every citizen safely.
He further added that the administration is working at full strength on a war footing. The search and rescue mission is proceeding uninterrupted, utilizing all available manpower, machinery, and technical resources. He reiterated that the administration stands with them and assured them that they would be kept updated on all developments.

Relatives of the trapped citizens are waiting at the site. Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi instructed the management of the ‘Antony and Lara’ company to provide food, accommodation, and all other necessary amenities to them.

Meanwhile, NDRF Second-in-Command Deepak Tiwari provided technical details regarding the rescue operation to the relatives. Additional Commissioner Vikrant Bagade and other municipal officials were also present on the occasion.
