Lonavala Cab Driver Assault: A local taxi driver thrashed an Ola/Uber driver and smashed his cab with a stone in Lonavala; police arrest the accused after video surfaces.

A shocking incident has come to light from Lonavala where a local taxi driver assaulted an Ola/Uber cab driver and vandalized his vehicle using a stone. The accused has been arrested by the police.
According to reports, the app-based cab driver had stopped at a hotel near Varsoli Toll Naka for breakfast after dropping off tourists. At that moment, a local taxi driver confronted him, abused him, and attacked him, questioning, “Why have you come here?” He then smashed the cab with a stone.
The accused himself recorded the video while beating the driver. Lonavala Rural Police have arrested this self-styled “bhai” and registered a case against him.
The attacker has been identified as Rohit Ramkisan Gupta, a taxi driver from the Waksai area. The complaint was filed by Tatyarao Bhikan Sapkal at the Lonavala Rural Police Station. Police have booked the accused, and further investigation is underway.
