Education World: Parent-Teacher Association Established at V.K. Mate High School

Parents and teachers from each class between 5th and 10th grade included in the PTA

Pimpri | For the academic year 2025–26, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was enthusiastically established at V.K. Mate High School, Chinchwad. The program began with congratulations to all the teachers, students, and parents for the school achieving a 100% result in the SSC board exams.

The PTA comprises parents and teachers from each class between 5th and 10th grade. By default, the president’s position was assigned to the administrator of the Moraya Education Trust and Principal Hon. Mrs. Indrayani Mate-Pisolkar. Mr. Vishal Kamble was unanimously elected as the Vice President from among the parents. Mrs. Anita Borse, an assistant teacher, was appointed as Secretary, while Mrs. Prajakta Bhandare was elected as Joint Secretary from among the parents.

During the meeting, Principal Mrs. Indrayani Mate-Pisolkar gave detailed guidance on the functioning, objectives, and responsibilities of the Parent-Teacher Association. Supervisor Mrs. Maitreyee Raje reviewed the school’s progress and shared information about various initiatives planned for the year being celebrated as the “Conservation Year.”

On this occasion, Vice Principal Mr. Dilip Kumawat and Teacher Coordinator Mr. Sanjay Khedkar were present as special guests. The program’s welcome and anchoring were done by Mrs. Anita Borse.

The Parent-Teacher Association will function with the objective of strengthening coordination between the school, teachers, parents, and the institution, and working together for the all-round development of the students.
