Pune Charholi : Woman Gym Trainer, with Friend’s Help, Kills Youth with Rod

A shocking incident has unfolded in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where a young gym trainer named Lalla Varpe, also known as Gopinath Varpe, was brutally murdered by a fellow gym trainer, Pranjal Tavare, and her friend, Yash Patoole. The incident occurred on an afternoon, and the accused duo reportedly surrendered to the Dighi police station, confessing to the crime.

According to Deputy Police Commissioner Bapu Bangar, Pranjal and Yash have a protein powder shop in Charholi, where the victim, Lalla, visited and allegedly used abusive language against Pranjal. This led to a verbal altercation, which escalated into a physical fight. Pranjal and Yash used rods and other objects to severely beat Lalla, resulting in his death.

The police investigation revealed that the accused and the victim knew each other prior to the incident. Both Pranjal and Yash sustained minor injuries during the fight. The Dighi police have taken the accused into custody and are investigating the matter.
