Crown Worship Ceremony of ‘Statue of Hindubhushan’ in Pimpri-Chinchwad
World’s tallest statue of Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj : A vision by BJP MLA Mahesh Landge moving toward fulfillment

The crown worship ceremony of the world’s tallest full-figure statue of Hindu Emperor Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj, named the ‘Statue of Hindubhushan’, was held with great fervor. As soon as the crown of Shambhuraje was revealed, the entire Moshi-Borhadewadi area echoed with chants of “Jai Shivaji… Jai Shambhuraje…” and Vedic mantras.
The statue is being constructed at Moshi-Borhadewadi under the visionary concept of BJP MLA Mahesh Landge, and the work is progressing rapidly. Representing inspiration drawn from sacrifice, devotion, and bravery, the statue will stand 140 feet tall, with a 40-foot high pedestal. A large number of Shiv-Shambhu devotees had gathered for the crown worship ceremony.
The statue complex will also include:

A 10-foot tall statue of Hambirrao Mohite

Statues of 16 Sardars and Mavalas (warriors)

An open-air theatre, bronze murals, and
-
A holographic presentation with screen to narrate Shambhuraje’s glorious saga.
MLA Mahesh Landge stated that the statue was crafted in a workshop in Delhi, and its parts were brought to the site for final assembly. He expressed the belief that the tale of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s valor and legacy would reach the masses through this monument, thereby reviving the city’s historical and cultural heritage.
Meanwhile, the construction of the pedestal and supporting structures is in the final stages, with MLA Landge closely monitoring the project. A firm determination has been expressed to make the statue majestic and magnificent. As a result, this ‘Statue of Hindubhushan’ has already become a center of attraction for Shiv-Shambhu devotees across the state.
