LANGUAGE OF LITTLE HEARTS

Every child expresses emotions in a unique way. Some speak openly, some remain silent, some suddenly cry, while others hide their feelings behind a smile. At times they enjoy being with friends, and at other times they choose to be alone. A child’s behaviour always has a reason.

They may be feeling unwell, missing someone, struggling with a challenge, or simply unable to express what is in their heart. As parents and teachers, it is our responsibility to observe with patience, listen without judgement, and gently understand what they are trying to communicate.

Instead of pointing out their mistakes in front of others, let us recognise and appreciate their strengths, talents, and kind qualities. Every child deserves to feel heard, respected, and valued. When we understand their emotions with empathy and care, we help them feel safe, build confidence, and grow into emotionally strong and compassionate individuals. “Children may forget our words, but they will always remember how we made them feel.”
