Pimple Saudagar 18m Road Work to Resume Soon

Pune | Representative | The long-pending 18-meter road project behind Alcove Society in Pimple Saudagar is finally showing signs of progress. Taking serious note of increasing complaints from local residents, BJP City President and former corporator Shatrughna Kate conducted an on-site inspection along with municipal officials and directed them to expedite the work without delay.

During the visit, corporators Anita Kate and Kunda Bhise also actively participated, assuring that continuous follow-up is being maintained. Officials provided a detailed update on the current status of the project, and discussions were held regarding the technical challenges that caused delays.

Firm Stand on Debris and Cleanliness

A significant amount of construction debris piled up in the area has been causing inconvenience to residents. Expressing strong displeasure, Shatrughna Kate instructed the administration and contractor to ensure that debris is not allowed to accumulate and that regular cleanliness is maintained until the project is completed.

Interaction with Citizens

The team also interacted with residents of Kunjir Colony, informing them about ongoing development works. Citizens shared their concerns and suggestions, to which the leaders responded positively and assured timely resolution.

Road to Open for Traffic Soon

“Strengthening infrastructure in Pimple Saudagar remains our priority. We will ensure that no inconvenience is caused to citizens due to pending works. The 18-meter road behind Alcove Society will be completed at the earliest and opened for traffic soon,” said Shatrughna Kate.

Officials from various municipal departments, local representatives, and a large number of residents were present during the inspection.
