Nigdi Shocker: Intoxicated Youth Climbs High-Tension Pole

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Representative : In a shocking and dramatic incident, a young man allegedly under the influence of intoxicants created panic in the Nigdi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad after climbing a high-tension electricity pole and sitting at the top for nearly three hours, triggering a major emergency response.

According to initial reports, the young guy, believed to be mentally distressed and intoxicated, suddenly climbed the live high-voltage pole, putting his life at extreme risk. As the power supply was active at the time, residents in the area were gripped with fear, and tension escalated rapidly.

Upon receiving information, police officials and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot. A large crowd of onlookers gathered, further complicating the situation and raising safety concerns.

Understanding the gravity of the incident, authorities immediately shut down the power supply to prevent any fatal mishap.
