PCCOE Job Fair 2026 Generates Employment for 2,223 Students
Over 200 companies offer 15,000+ opportunities; nearly 14,000 candidates participate

Pimpri, Pune | April 22, 2026: The “PCCOE Job Fair 2026,” organized by Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Nigdi, achieved significant success by providing employment to 2,223 students. The large-scale recruitment drive saw participation from 205 reputed companies across India, collectively offering more than 15,000 job, apprenticeship, and internship opportunities.
The job fair was conducted in collaboration with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), the Maharashtra Association of TPOs (MaTPO), and the All India TPO Association (AITPO). A total of 13,991 candidates registered online, with diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate students from various disciplines participating enthusiastically.

The recruitment process included online assessments, group discussions, technical interviews, and personal interviews. According to Dr. Shitalkumar Rawandale, Dean of the PCET Central Placement Cell, the event marked a major milestone in employment generation for students across Maharashtra.
Leading companies such as Cummins India, Piaggio Vehicles, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai, Atlas Copco, Schindler India, Bharat Electronics, Eaton, Sandvik, and Fiat India actively participated, offering students valuable career opportunities in reputed industries.
The event was inaugurated by BOAT Director P. N. Jumle, along with senior officials including N. N. Vadode and Rujuta Bankar from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Speaking at the event, Jumle highlighted that the Government of India has allocated ₹250 crore under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) for 2025–26. He noted that over 1.51 lakh candidates in the western region have already benefited from apprenticeship opportunities, gaining industry-recognized experience after completing one year of training.
Rujuta Bankar emphasized the importance of practical work experience and encouraged students to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme launched in 2024. The scheme offers internships with a monthly stipend of ₹9,000 for a duration of 6 to 9 months, targeting youth aged 18 to 25 from diverse educational backgrounds.

The successful organization of the job fair was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the PCCOE placement team, faculty members, and over 200 student volunteers. Key dignitaries from PCET, including President Dnyaneshwar Landage and Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai, were also present on the occasion.
The PCCOE Job Fair 2026 stands as a significant initiative in bridging the gap between industry and academia, providing a strong platform for students to launch their professional careers.
