Grand BJP Foot March in Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani Ward 28 Led by Shatrughan Kate
Mission–PCMC: Message of Development Reaches Every Home Under City President Shatrughan Kate’s Leadership
Pimpri-Chinchwad | In Ward No. 28 of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election campaign received a powerful start today with a grand foot march. The march, led by BJP’s prominent candidate Shatrughan Kate, received an enthusiastic response from citizens.
The foot march began at 9:00 a.m. from Pimple Saudagar and proceeded via Swaraj Garden Chowk, Seven Star Lane, Govind Garden Road, Kunal Icon Road, Shivar Chowk, Kokane Chowk, and Rahatani Chowk, concluding at Vimal Garden Chowk. Shatrughan Kate was warmly welcomed at several points along the route. Party workers, women, senior citizens, and youth participated in large numbers.
During the foot march, Shatrughan Kate interacted directly with residents and discussed key local issues such as basic amenities, infrastructure, roads, water supply, sanitation, and traffic. He highlighted Pimpri-Chinchwad’s journey as a metro city, growth in the industrial and IT sectors, and the contribution of hardworking laborers that has given the city its distinct identity.
“To ensure that Pimpri-Chinchwad’s development journey not only continues but accelerates further, visionary leadership capable of taking firm decisions is essential. Over the last ten years, the BJP has proven this through action,” said Shatrughan Kate. He also expressed his determination to make the development of Ward No. 28 even more dynamic in the coming period.
Along with Shatrughan Kate, candidates from his panel—Anita Sandip Kate (General – Women), Kunda Sanjay Bhise (General – Women), and Sandesh Ramchandra Kate (General)—also participated in the foot march. Voting will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Shatrughan Kate appealed to citizens to press the button in front of the ‘Lotus’ symbol and ensure a massive victory for all four BJP candidates. The foot march created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and energy across the ward.
