2,212 Nomination Forms Sold on the First Day for Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Elections

Pimpri | In connection with the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2025–26, the sale of nomination forms began on 23 December 2025. Between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm on the very first day, a total of 2,212 nomination forms were sold across eight Election Returning Officer offices.

As per the election programme announced by the Election Commission of India for the Maharashtra Assembly General Elections 2024, the election notification was published on 15 December 2025, and the process of filing nomination forms has commenced accordingly. On the first day, nomination forms were sold at A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H ward offices.

Ward-wise sale of nomination forms:

  • A Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 10, 14, 15 and 19, a total of 356 forms were sold.

  • B Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 16, 17, 18 and 22, a total of 300 forms were sold.

  • C Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 2, 6, 8 and 9, a total of 315 forms were sold.

  • D Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 25, 26, 28 and 29, a total of 292 forms were sold.

  • E Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 7, a total of 210 forms were sold.

  • F Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 1, 11, 12 and 13, a total of 234 forms were sold.

  • G Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 21, 23, 24 and 27, a total of 189 forms were sold.

  • H Ward Office: For Ward Nos. 32, 31, 30 and 20, a total of 316 forms were sold.

The highest number of nomination forms were sold from the A Ward Office, while the G Ward Office recorded the lowest sale on the first day.
