Healthy Sleep, Bright future

In today’s fast-moving world, sleep is often treated as a luxury rather than a necessity. Many students stay up late to complete assignments, scroll on mobile phones, or watch television, thinking it will help them achieve more. However, in reality, proper sleep is one of the most important factors for a healthy and successful life.
Sleep is not just about resting the body—it is about refreshing the mind. When students get enough sleep, they can concentrate better, understand lessons more clearly, and remember what they learn. A well-rested child walks into the classroom with energy, confidence, and a positive attitude.
As teachers, we guide students every day, but this responsibility is shared with parents. A child’s routine begins at home. If parents stay awake late at night, children naturally follow the same pattern. This is why it is important for parents to create a healthy sleep environment.
Students should ideally sleep early, around 10 p.m., and wake up fresh between 6–7 a.m. Even if parents sleep late due to work or other reasons, they should ensure that their children go to bed on time. In fact, when parents try to improve their own habits, it sends a powerful message—because children learn more from what they see than what they are told.
Parents also play a key role. Even if they sleep late, they must ensure their children follow a healthy routine. Children learn habits by watching their parents, so a good example matters.
