Rashmika–Vijay Surprise Fans with First Song from ‘Ranaballi’ After Wedding
Ajay–Atul Compose Promo Track ‘Endhayya Sami’; Period Drama Set for September 11 Release
Popular on-screen pair Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have delighted fans with a special surprise following their wedding celebrations. The first poster and promo song from their upcoming film Ranaballi have officially been unveiled, creating major buzz across social media.
The duo previously shared screen space in the blockbuster hits Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, with Geetha Govindam especially cementing their popularity as a beloved pair. After working separately on different projects for some time, the two are now reuniting on screen in this much-anticipated period drama.
The makers announced Ranaballi in January 2026, but following the couple’s marriage, the excitement has doubled with the release of their first joint poster and promo track titled ‘Endhayya Sami’, launched on YouTube by T-Series.
Notably, the song has been composed by celebrated Marathi music duo Ajay-Atul, adding a powerful musical touch to the grand historical narrative. In the promo, Rashmika and Vijay are seen in traditional attire, with glimpses of wedding sequences and emotional post-marriage moments from the film.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is reportedly inspired by real events from the 19th century, set between 1854 and 1878 during British rule in India. A reference in the promotional video mentions that the British looted nearly $45 trillion from India during that era, highlighting the film’s intense historical backdrop.
In Ranaballi, Vijay will portray freedom fighter Ranaballi, while Rashmika will be seen as Jayamma. The film also features Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo in a negative role.
The much-awaited film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 11, raising expectations among fans eager to witness the couple’s chemistry once again on the big screen.
