However, he sustained leg injuries after being buried under the rubble of the collapsed house.

The ferocity of the attack was such that Mojtaba Khamenei’s wife and son were killed instantly at the scene. Furthermore, his brother-in-law—along with key pillars of Iran’s security apparatus, IRGC Chief Mohammad Pakpour and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh—were also killed in the attack.
