The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament has stated that, in disregard of diplomatic efforts, the United States is covertly planning a ground invasion. Furthermore, the Speaker issued a stern warning to the U.S., declaring that Iran would under no circumstances surrender.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, made this significant claim regarding the United States. Ghalibaf stated, “Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to counter any potential ground invasion by the United States.” He further warned that if America’s regional allies were to lend support to military action against Iran, they would be forced to face the consequences.
Ghalibaf asserted that Iran would deliver a forceful retaliation to any form of aggression. He noted that while the United States publicly speaks the language of negotiation, it is simultaneously—and secretly—planning a ground assault. “The enemy speaks of negotiations on one hand, yet plots a ground invasion on the other. The United States is attempting to achieve this very objective through its 15-point peace proposal—precisely because they failed to secure a victory in the war. The conflict between Iran and the United States in the Middle East has now reached a critical juncture. Among these reinforcements, the modern vessel ‘USS Tripoli’—carrying a contingent of 2,500 Marines—has now entered the theater of operations.

According to information provided by the US Central Command, air strikes have been conducted against more than 11,000 military targets within Iran thus far, under the ambit of ‘Operation Epic Fury,’ which commenced on February 28. The Pentagon is currently formulating a plan for a potential week-long ground operation within Iran. However, the entire world is now watching closely to see whether President Donald Trump will grant final approval for the deployment of ground forces.
