“Ever Ready for Service… Unbroken and Continuous”: An Emotional Letter by Tushar Kamthe from Pimple Nilakh
Mission – PCMC: Entering the electoral arena from Municipal Ward No. 26

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Correspondent । In the backdrop of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, Tushar Kamthe, City President of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), has written an emotional letter to the voters of his ward, appealing to them to once again place their trust and support in him.
Former corporator of the Pimple Nilakh, Vishalnagar, and Kaspate Vasti areas, Kamthe has reviewed the various development works carried out during the past five-year term in this letter. He stated that basic issues such as roads, water supply, electricity, and healthcare facilities were addressed effectively. He also mentioned the initiatives taken during the COVID-19 pandemic, including sanitization drives, healthcare services, ambulance facilities, and vaccination support to ensure citizens’ safety.
Municipal schools were renovated and equipped with modern classrooms, computers, and e-learning facilities. A bell cart system was started for waste management. He highlighted several initiatives such as the Mula River cleanliness drive, tree plantation, development of a solar-powered modern crematorium, and the development of Shaheed Ashok Kamthe Garden.
Kamthe also claimed that substantial funds were secured to carry out major infrastructure projects in Vishalnagar and Pimple Nilakh areas, including underpasses for signal-free junctions, 12-meter-wide roads, subways, gymnasiums, weekly farmers’ markets, and development plan (DP) roads.
Resolve to Complete Pending Works…
Although the pace of development slowed somewhat due to the COVID-19 pandemic and delayed elections, Kamthe stated that he is now fully prepared to work again with renewed energy. In the upcoming municipal elections, he is contesting as the official candidate of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), and his election symbol is the “man blowing the trumpet.” “I have always remained committed to public service and will continue to do so. I appeal to the voters to give me one more opportunity for the overall development of the ward,” he said.
“I have never viewed politics from the perspective of power. Serving the people is my true identity. The comprehensive, sustainable, and well-planned development of Pimple Nilakh, Vishalnagar, and Kaspate Vasti is my sole objective. During my previous term, I prioritized work over words. I consistently worked on fundamental issues such as roads, healthcare, education, cleanliness, and citizens’ safety. I will continue to uphold the same trust in the future as well.”
