Copper Bottle Theft Worth:
A major theft case has been reported in Kalewadi, where copper bottles worth ₹2,72,000 were stolen from a wholesale store. The incident took place at Balaji Traders, located in the Jyotiba Garden area of Kalewadi.
Police have arrested Rahul Pandurang Ingwale (25), a resident of Patra Shed, Link Road, Parivartan Society, Pimpri, in connection with the crime. A complaint was filed by Amar Shankar Duseja (30), a resident of Vijayanagar, Kalewadi, at the Kalewadi Police Station on Saturday (Dec 6).
🔍 How the Theft Happened
According to police reports, the accused gained entry to the shop by prying open a metal sheet at the back of the building. Once inside, he stole a bulk consignment of copper material — mainly copper bottles — valued at ₹2.72 lakh.
The theft came to light after the shop owner noticed missing stock and signs of forced entry. Following investigation and technical surveillance, the Kalewadi Police traced and arrested the suspect.
