Approval Granted to Various Development Works in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Meeting
Pimpri Chinchwad | The meeting of the Standing Committee was held at the Late Mayor Madhukar Pawale Hall in the main administrative building of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Pimpri. The meeting was chaired by Administrator Shekhar Singh.
Additional Commissioners Pradeep Jambhale Patil, Vijaykumar Khorate, Tripti Sandbhor, Municipal Secretary Mukesh Kolpe, as well as department heads and officers related to the subjects were present at the meeting.
In the Standing Committee meeting held yesterday, approval was granted for expenses related to cleaning, maintenance, and repair works of public toilets operated by Maharsi Valmiki Mahila Bachat Gat, Aishwarya Mahila Bachat Gat, Avadi Mahila Bachat Gat, Bhimkranti Mahila Bachat Gat, Gayatri Mahila Bachat Gat, Vaishalitai Kalbhor Bachat Gat, Mat Bhimai Mahila Bachat Gat.
Under D Regional Office for 2024–25, approval was given for laying a new pipeline and installing valves in the Wakad Bhagwan Nagar area; furniture works for the third, fourth, and fifth floors in the divisional office building at Prabhag 16, Kiwale; expenses for organizing district-level carrom competition 2025–26.
Approval was granted for paying fees to MSEDCL for new electricity meters in the municipal primary and secondary schools at Kasarwadi; travel expenses for the study tour of headmasters and chief instructors to Eklavya Foundation in Madhya Pradesh; purchase of disinfectants for the health department; approval of expenses for graphical wall paintings under Swachh Survekshan 2024 in Prabhags 3, 4, and 5.
Construction of raised pedestrian crossings as per IRC standards for various roads in Prabhag 11; repair of roads in industrial areas of Kudulwadi and Pawarvasti; hot mix repairs in Nigdi Gavthan area of Prabhag 13; tent arrangements for various cultural programs; maintenance and repair of roads from Triveninagar Chowk to Talwade Chowk and from Sahayog Nagar to Tower Line Road in Prabhag 12.
Architectural work for Nagubhau Barne School building in Thergaon, Prabhag 24; repair and tarring of trenches dug by the municipal corporation and various companies at Vishal Nagar, Pimple Nilakh, in Prabhag 26; approval of printing expenses for answer sheets, progress books, and portfolios for students from Std. 1 to 8 for the second semester in municipal schools.
Land acquisition of plots affected by the proposed octroi post at Charholi; provision of one Bolero pickup or similar vehicle on rent to each regional office for use by the Encroachment Department; free parking for 11 months at Open Plot No. 6 in Ravet for devotees visiting ISKCON temple.
Approval was given for Kasarwadi ITI annual exam bill material expenses and advertising rotation policy 2025–26 by Administrator Shekhar Singh.
