Meeting on August 16 to Address Challenges Faced by Chakan Entrepreneurs: Industries Minister Uday Samant

Against this backdrop, Industries Minister Uday Samant spoke via telephone today with office-bearers of the Chakan industrial association. To move beyond mere discussion and find concrete solutions by directly understanding the entrepreneurs’ issues, an in-person meeting has been scheduled for August 16 at 4:00 PM in Chakan with entrepreneurs and industrial association representatives.
Chakan is a vital hub for Maharashtra’s industrial development; the government prioritizes providing necessary infrastructure to local industries and resolving the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Minister Samant stated that the government aims to directly understand the difficulties regarding roads, transport, and other infrastructure and will strive to implement immediate remedial measures through coordination among the relevant departments.
Meanwhile, Chakan’s industrial associations have assured a constructive approach to the upcoming discussion with the Industries Minister. A collaborative path will be charted between the government and the industrial sector to prevent the relocation of industries from Maharashtra, protect existing businesses, and sustain employment opportunities in the Chakan area.
Minister Samant emphasized that the government is committed to resolving entrepreneurs’ challenges while accelerating Chakan’s industrial growth, adding that concrete decisions will be taken after consulting all relevant stakeholders.
