Manoj Jarange Patil Alleges Assassination Plot by Dhananjay Munde: Shocking Claim by Maratha Quota Leader
Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has made a serious allegation that a plot to kill him was orchestrated by Maharashtra Minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Dhananjay Munde. Police have detained two suspects in connection with the alleged conspiracy.

In a dramatic press conference, Maratha quota leader Manoj Jarange Patil claimed that there was a conspiracy to assassinate him, and alleged that NCP leader Dhananjay Munde was behind the plot.
Jarange stated that two accused persons have been detained by police, and they were allegedly involved in planning his murder. “One of the men, named Kanchan from Beed, is a known worker of Dhananjay Munde,” Jarange alleged.
He further claimed that the accused first tried to create fake audio and video clips to defame him, but when that failed, they moved on to plan his physical elimination — either by shooting or poisoning him.
According to Jarange, “A meeting regarding the plan was held at a rest house in Parli, and it was attended by people linked to Dhananjay Munde.”
While making these explosive allegations, Jarange urged his supporters to remain calm. “I appeal to the Maratha community to stay peaceful. Don’t worry while I’m alive; I will continue to fight for the cause. After I’m gone, you may decide what to do,” he said emotionally.
He also issued a warning to rival political forces, saying, “Now they’ve realized how far our reach goes.”
Jarange further called upon all Maratha political leaders to take this matter seriously, saying, “Today it’s me; tomorrow it could be you. Such evil tendencies must be rooted out.”
He clarified that he will not name more people until the investigation is complete and the administration confirms the details. “If you stay calm, I can still bring peace and justice to our society,” he concluded.
