KK Menon’s ‘Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya’ to Stream on Prime Video from July 24

Mumbai: Following the success of acclaimed series like Panchayat and Gram Chikitsalay, Prime Video is set to launch another feel-good comedy-drama titled Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, starring Kay Kay Menon in the lead role.

Directed by Himank Gaur, the series will premiere on July 24 and will be available to audiences in India and across the world in Hindi on Prime Video.

A Story of Hope, Education and Determination

The series revolves around Gyaneshwar Tripathi, an easy-going yet ambitious government school principal portrayed by Kay Kay Menon. His dream is to attend a prestigious government training programme in Cambridge.

To achieve that goal, he takes on the challenge of transforming one of the city’s most neglected and lowest-performing government schools, with the support of his teaching staff.

Battling Everyday Challenges

As the team works towards reviving the school, they encounter several obstacles, including:

• Poor infrastructure

• Limited educational resources

• Uninvolved parents

• A struggling education system

• Everyday administrative hurdles

Despite these challenges, the principal and his team remain determined to give the school a fresh beginning while delivering a story filled with humour, emotion, and inspiration.

Strong Supporting Cast

Apart from Kay Kay Menon, the series also features Archana Puran Singh and Naveen Kasturia in pivotal roles.

The recently released first look has already generated excitement among viewers, with many comparing the show’s warm and relatable storytelling style to Panchayat.
