The grand finale also saw Tanishq Shukla from Jabalpur finish as the first runner-up. The season was judged by celebrated singers and musicians Shreya Ghoshal, Badshah, and Vishal Dadlani, while the theme for this edition was “Yaadon Ki Playlist.”
After winning the title, Jyotirmayee dedicated her victory to cancer patients who, according to her, have benefited from her music therapy sessions.
Speaking after her victory, she described the experience as one of the most unforgettable chapters of her life.
“This journey lasted almost a year. I arrived in Mumbai on September 14, and every moment since then has been special. The biggest happiness is that all my hard work has been rewarded with this title,” she said.
The singer also revealed that winning the prize money was never her primary goal during the competition.
“I never participated with the intention of winning the prize money. My only focus was to deliver the best performances and receive positive feedback from the judges. I hadn’t even thought about how I would use the prize money, but now I will definitely plan it carefully,” she added.
Jyotirmayee further said that getting the opportunity to perform timeless songs on the Indian Idol stage and receiving overwhelming love from audiences were the most memorable moments of her journey.
Her victory marks another inspiring chapter in the history of Indian Idol, celebrating talent, perseverance, and dedication to music.
