BJP City President Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate Leads Power Restoration Efforts in Rain-Affected Pimple Saudagar
Continuous coordination with Mahavitaran officials ensures faster action to restore electricity supply in affected societies
Pimpri- Chinchwad : Following heavy rainfall and waterlogging in the city, Corporator and BJP City President Mr. Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate has taken the lead in coordinating efforts for the restoration of electricity supply in affected areas of Pimple Saudagar.

Due to continuous heavy rainfall over the past two to three days, several areas witnessed waterlogging, resulting in disruption of power supply in some residential societies and localities. Through immediate follow-up with the administration and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL/Mahavitaran) officials, electricity supply has been restored in most parts of Pimple Saudagar.
However, power supply to Vantage Society, Peace Valley Society, Sai Shree Society, and the Shivraj Nagar area continues to remain affected due to technical issues and waterlogging. Mr. Kate is personally monitoring the situation and maintaining constant communication with senior Mahavitaran officials and field staff to expedite the restoration work.
Mr. Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate said
“The safety and convenience of citizens are our top priorities. Due to heavy rainfall and challenging conditions, some areas are facing power disruptions. I am continuously in touch with Mahavitaran officials and their teams are working on a war footing to restore electricity supply at the earliest. I appeal to citizens to remain patient and cooperate with the authorities during this situation.”
Along with Corporator Mrs. Antatai Kate and Corporator Mrs. Kundatai Bhise, Mr. Kate is closely following up on the repair and restoration work. Mahavitaran employees are working at the affected locations while strictly following necessary safety protocols.
Residents have been requested not to believe rumours and to rely only on official updates. The administration and local representatives are closely monitoring the situation and are prepared to provide necessary assistance to citizens whenever required.
