Aishwarya Rai Stayed Professional After Salman Breakup

Years after one of Bollywood’s most talked-about relationships ended, actress Sadia Siddiqui has revealed how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan handled herself professionally following her breakup with Salman Khan.

Speaking in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sadia recalled working with Aishwarya in the 2005 film Shabd. Although the two actresses did not share any scenes together, Sadia said Aishwarya’s dedication and professionalism stood out during the film’s shoot.

According to Sadia, Aishwarya never allowed her personal struggles to interfere with her work. Despite reports that the film was being shot around the time of her breakup with Salman Khan, she remained fully committed to her responsibilities on set.

‘She Never Let Her Personal Life Affect Her Work’

Sadia clarified that she was not personally close to Aishwarya and therefore could not comment on what she was going through emotionally. However, based on what she witnessed, Aishwarya handled every professional commitment with complete sincerity.

She added that the actress always arrived on set well-prepared, had memorized all her dialogues, thoroughly read the script, and approached every scene with complete professionalism.

‘She Hid Her Emotions Very Well’

Sharing her observations, Sadia said Aishwarya managed to keep her emotions away from the workplace.

“From whatever I saw, Aishwarya hid her emotions extremely well. She always came to the set fully prepared, knew all her dialogues, had read the entire script, and worked in a highly professional manner. She never allowed her personal life to affect her work.”

Sadia also praised Aishwarya’s commitment to every role, saying she always invested significant effort and preparation before facing the camera.

Released in 2005, Shabd was directed by Leena Yadav and starred Sanjay Dutt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Zayed Khan in lead roles. The romantic thriller received an average response at the box office but was appreciated for its performances.
