Adinath Kothare and Urmilla Kanetkar first met in 2006 during the shooting of the Marathi film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Their friendship gradually blossomed into a relationship, and they tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in December 2011.
The couple welcomed their daughter Ziza in 2018 and had often been regarded as one of Marathi cinema’s most admired celebrity couples. However, speculation regarding differences in their relationship had been circulating on social media for some time before the official announcement.
