Abhijeet Dipke Warns Govt Despite Pradhan’s Exit

CJP founder and president Abhijeet Dipke has issued a strong warning to the Central Government, stating that the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan does not mark the end of the student movement. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke said the agitation would intensify if criminal cases registered against students are not withdrawn.

The CJP-led nationwide protest, which continued for 37 days, drew widespread attention and culminated in Pradhan stepping down from the Education Ministry. The government has also cleared the Education Reform Bill, but Dipke maintained that legislation alone cannot solve the country’s examination crisis.

‘Laws Alone Will Not Fix the System’

Commenting on the newly introduced legislation against paper leaks, Dipke argued that passing laws without ensuring proper implementation would fail to bring meaningful reforms.

“The government can continue introducing new laws, but nothing will change unless its intent is genuine. India already has several strong laws. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised fast-track courts, yet even the first hearing was delayed because a CBI officer failed to appear. Good governance is more important than simply passing legislation,” Dipke said.

Warns of Stronger Agitation Over FIRs

Dipke said the government’s responsibility does not end with Pradhan’s resignation and insisted that the withdrawal of FIRs filed against protesting students remains a key demand.

“If the government believes the issue ended with Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, it is mistaken. If FIRs against students are not withdrawn, we will launch an even bigger and stronger movement,” he warned.

He also criticised the government’s handling of student protests, claiming that force was used against young demonstrators instead of addressing their concerns.

“Narendra Modi and Amit Shah understand the language of votes. If you fire bullets or lathis at one student, remember that every household has at least four votes. There was a time when AK-47s were used against terrorists; today students are being treated the same way. Correct your course now, or students will answer through the ballot box,” Dipke said.

Dismisses Kangana Ranaut’s Remarks

Responding to comments made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut about Gen Z, Dipke refused to engage in a political exchange.

“When was the last time Kangana Ranaut was seen seriously participating in Parliament? Ask me about leaders who are serious about politics. I will not comment on part-time politicians,” he remarked.

CJP Questions New Education Reform Bill

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka also criticised the newly passed legislation, arguing that it focuses only on punishment after paper leaks occur rather than preventing them.

According to Ranka, the government has failed to explain how it plans to reform the National Testing Agency (NTA), improve transparency, regulate blacklisted vendors, or strengthen the examination system to stop future paper leaks.

“The Bill explains what the government will do after a paper leak happens, but it says nothing about preventing such incidents in the first place. Until the examination system is reformed, the paper leak problem will continue,” Ranka said.
