Youth Shot Dead in Charholi: Friends Open Fire Inside Fortuner Over Business Dispute
The victim, Nitin Gilbile, was allegedly shot by his own friends Amit Pathare and Vikrant Thakur inside a parked vehicle; police launch manhunt for the absconding accused.

A shocking incident unfolded in Charholi, where a young man was allegedly shot dead by his own friends inside a black Toyota Fortuner SUV. The crime took place around 5:30 to 6:00 PM near Shri Sai Road Carrier on the Alankapuram 90-Foot Road, according to early police information.
The victim has been identified as Nitin Shankar Gilbile. While sitting inside the vehicle, Nitin was reportedly fired upon by his friends:

Nitin sustained critical gunshot injuries and was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
🔍 Business Dispute Suspected
Police sources have confirmed that Nitin, Amit, and Vikrant were close friends and jointly involved in a land plotting business. Preliminary investigation suggests that a dispute over financial dealings in this business may have led to the firing.
After the shooting, both Amit Pathare and Vikrant Thakur fled the scene, and their current whereabouts are unknown. A manhunt has been launched by the Dighi Police, who are actively investigating the case from all angles.
Police teams are scanning CCTV footage, questioning acquaintances, and gathering technical evidence to trace the suspects.
