Dr. Suhas Kamble Takes Initiative Through ‘Breakfast with Corporator’; ‘Jammer Action’ Against Illegally Parked Heavy Vehicles!

Pimpri-Chinchwad | Correspondent: Corporator Dr. Suhas Kamble has taken the initiative to address the long-pending issue of heavy vehicles illegally parked in no-parking zones along the service road of Spine Road in Moshi Pradhikaran. To facilitate effective action against containers, trucks and trailers, he has provided the necessary jamming equipment at his own expense. Subsequently, under the ‘Breakfast with Corporator’ initiative, he interacted directly with residents of Ward No. 8 and joined the traffic police in initiating action against illegally parked heavy vehicles. Dr. Kamble also informed that he is coordinating with the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the police administration to install height barriers soon, with the aim of finding a permanent solution to the problem of illegal parking of heavy vehicles in the area.
“We consistently receive guidance from Bhosari Assembly constituency MLA Mahesh Landge. He always responds positively to our efforts on various issues. Under his guidance, we are continuously working to resolve citizens’ problems,” Dr. Kamble said.

A large number of containers, trucks, trailers and other heavy vehicles are illegally parked along the service road between Sardar Chowk and Rajmata Jijau Nagar Kranti Chowk, covering Sectors 11 and 13 of Moshi Pradhikaran. This has been causing considerable inconvenience to local residents and motorists. The illegal parking has also been affecting the movement of school buses, ambulances and other emergency service vehicles.
Dr. Kamble has been consistently coordinating with the police administration to find a permanent solution to the problem. Despite the installation of no-parking signs and arrangements for regular enforcement, the issue of heavy vehicle parking remained unresolved. After learning that the necessary jamming equipment was not available to take effective action against larger vehicles, Dr. Kamble decided to provide the required equipment at his own expense.

With the objective of understanding citizens’ problems firsthand and finding solutions, Dr. Suhas Kamble interacted with residents of Ward No. 8 under the ‘Breakfast with Corporator’ initiative. Ramchandra Ghadge, Senior Police Inspector of the Chikhali Traffic Division, was present on the occasion. The necessary jamming equipment for taking action against heavy vehicles was handed over to him.
Following this, Dr. Kamble, along with local residents and a team of traffic police personnel, inspected the Spine Road service road. The police initiated direct action against containers, trucks and other heavy vehicles parked in no-parking zones. This marks a concrete step towards resolving an issue that had remained pending for a considerable period.

Height Barriers to Be Installed; Efforts Underway to Permanently Curb Illegal Parking of Heavy Vehicles!
To find a permanent solution to the problem of containers and trucks being illegally parked along Spine Road and its surrounding areas, height barriers will soon be installed at the relevant locations. Dr. Suhas Kamble informed that the necessary steps are being taken in coordination with the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the police administration.
The focus will not be limited to punitive action alone. Preventive measures will also be undertaken to ensure that heavy vehicles are not illegally parked in these areas in the future.

Positive Discussions on Various Development Issues Through ‘Breakfast with Corporator’!
During the interaction with residents under the ‘Breakfast with Corporator’ initiative, several civic issues were discussed constructively. These included making Sectors 11 and 13 of the Moshi-Chikhali Pradhikaran area free from illegally parked containers and traffic congestion, developing new gardens, developing the proposed 12-metre-wide road between the Constitution Bhavan and Moshi High Street, removing unauthorised hawkers, and rehabilitating licensed hawkers.
The discussions also focused on citizens’ day-to-day problems, local infrastructure and pending development works. Residents expressed the view that the initiative provides a useful platform for direct communication and constructive engagement on civic issues.

Despite being a practising doctor by profession, Dr. Suhas Kamble has been building a reputation as a public representative who makes time to understand citizens’ concerns and consistently follows up on their grievances. “‘Breakfast with Corporator’ will be conducted consistently over the next five years in different parts of the ward. Through this initiative, we will directly understand citizens’ problems and make every possible effort to resolve them. We will work towards accelerating development projects in the ward by coordinating with citizens and the administration,” Dr. Kamble said.

Residents and public representatives resolved to work towards making Spine Road and the surrounding areas free from the illegal parking of containers and other heavy vehicles.
Police officials appealed to citizens to immediately inform the traffic police if they notice heavy vehicles parked in no-parking zones. The police also clarified that enforcement action against illegally parked heavy vehicles would continue as required.
The police stated that jammers would be used to take action against heavy containers found parked in no-parking zones.
Through public participation, consistent follow-up by the elected representative and enforcement by the police administration, efforts are underway to resolve the problem of illegal heavy vehicle parking on Spine Road. The proposed installation of height barriers is expected to be another important step towards finding a long-term solution.
