Mont Vert Vivanta Housing Society Inaugurates 44 kW Solar Power Project in Wakad
Mrs. Sneha Ranjeet Kalate leads the green initiative, marking a major milestone in sustainable energy adoption for residential societies in Pune

In a significant step towards sustainable living, a state-of-the-art 44 kW solar energy project was officially inaugurated today at Mont Vert Vivanta Housing Society, Wakad. The inauguration was carried out by Mrs. Sneha Ranjeet Kalate, Chairperson of the Ranjeet (Aaba) Kalate Foundation.
The advanced solar power system has been developed using Adani TopCon solar panels and Fronius inverters, ensuring reliable and efficient clean energy generation. The setup is designed to supply electricity to the society’s lifts, water pumps, and other essential common utilities, reducing dependence on conventional sources of power.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Sneha Kalate highlighted the significance of the initiative:
“This project is not just a mark of technological advancement, but a strong step towards environmental protection. The initiative taken by Mont Vert Vivanta sets a powerful example for other housing societies in the area. We must encourage such green transitions across the city for a sustainable tomorrow.”
She also congratulated the society’s management committee and residents for their foresight and collaborative effort in making the project a reality.
The inauguration event was attended by society office bearers, residents, and local well-wishers. The solar installation is expected to significantly lower the society’s electricity bills while promoting eco-friendly practices, marking a major milestone in Wakad’s green energy journey.
