Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of ‘Awarapan 2’ has finally been released, marking Emraan Hashmi’s return as Shivam Pandit nearly 19 years after the cult classic first hit theatres. Packed with intense action, emotional drama and a gripping revenge story, the trailer has quickly become one of the biggest talking points on social media.

Disha Patani’s Fierce Action Avatar
Actress Disha Patani appears in a completely new avatar, performing high-octane action sequences while wielding a gun. Her transformation has caught the attention of fans, making her one of the biggest highlights of the trailer.

Speaking about the decision, Emraan said fans who watched the original film would enjoy revisiting the story before the sequel, while younger audiences who have never seen the first film would get the opportunity to experience the original journey of Shivam Pandit on the big screen.

The makers have also put an end to speculation surrounding the film’s release date. Responding to reports that ‘Awarapan 2’ had been postponed, Emraan Hashmi and the producers clarified that the film will release as per its scheduled date, dismissing all rumours.

Produced by Vishesh Bhatt and directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film has been written by Bilal Siddiqi. ‘Awarapan 2’ is being presented under the banners of Mukesh Bhatt and Vishesh Films.
