Originally from Dongargaon near Ganore in Maharashtra’s Akole taluka, Sanchita came from a farming family. Her father Machhindra Ugale is a farmer, while her mother Jayashree Ugale is a homemaker. Driven by a passion for acting, Sanchita worked her way into the competitive world of television and entertainment through determination and hard work. In a relatively short span of time, she carved out a distinct identity for herself through performances in both Marathi and Hindi television serials.

Her acting talent and screen presence earned her recognition among viewers, helping her build a promising career in the industry. Friends and admirers remember her as a confident, outspoken and hardworking artist who never hesitated to share her views about the realities of the entertainment world.

In previous interviews, Sanchita had openly spoken about the challenges faced by outsiders in the film industry. She had said that surviving in a city like Mumbai and securing lead roles without industry connections was extremely difficult. As a result, she chose to focus on meaningful roles in television serials rather than chasing uncertain opportunities in films.

The actress had also shared her disappointment after allegedly being removed from a project at the final stage despite being selected for a lead role. According to those close to her, the incident had caused considerable emotional distress.

A few months ago, Sanchita had raised concerns about the growing mental pressure created by social media culture. She had warned that many young people were becoming increasingly dependent on online validation, which could have a serious impact on mental well-being.

Following her death, several members of the entertainment fraternity have expressed grief and called for a deeper examination of the circumstances surrounding the incident. The All India Cine Workers Association has reportedly written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, seeking the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ensure a fair and transparent probe into the case.

Sanchita’s untimely demise has reignited conversations around mental health, professional pressures and the challenges faced by young artists trying to establish themselves in the entertainment industry.
