PMRDA Meet Today Under CM Fadnavis
Budget approval, flyover naming and key Pune infra decisions on agenda
Pune/Mumbai: The 14th Authority Meeting of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority is being held today, Monday, May 4, 2026, in Mumbai. The meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Mantralaya at 1:00 PM.
This meeting is considered crucial for the development of the Pune Metropolitan Region, with major decisions expected on infrastructure and administrative matters.
A key highlight is the proposal to name the integrated double-decker flyover at the Savitribai Phule Pune University Chowk, developed along with the metro project. The flyover is proposed to be named after late leader Ajit Anantrao Pawar, with approval likely in today’s meeting.

The authority will also consider approval of the revised budget for FY 2025–26 and the original budget for FY 2026–27. A proposal to delegate administrative powers related to land disposal regulations (2023) to the Metropolitan Commissioner is also on the agenda.
An Action Taken Report from the previous meeting held on December 11, 2025, will be presented. Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari and senior officials will attend the meeting.
