As the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) elections approach, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its campaign with the slogan “Aapki Baar 100 Paar”, signaling its determination to secure a clear majority. In the Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani ward, the party’s influence is visibly on the rise under the leadership of BJP City President Shatrughan alias Bapu Kate.
Ward No. 28, considered the stronghold of Shatrughan Kate, is witnessing strong public support, with voters expressing confidence that the BJP will win all four seats in the ward this election. The official BJP–RPI (Athawale group) candidates contesting from the ward are Shatrughan alias Bapu Kate, Sandesh Kate, Anita Sandeep Kate, and Kundatai Sanjay Bhise. The entire area is currently immersed in a pro-BJP atmosphere.
The candidates are actively engaging with voters through door-to-door outreach, society meetings, and campaign rounds, highlighting their development work and future plans. With a firm resolve to win all four seats, the BJP campaign has covered every corner of Rahatani and Pimple Saudagar, ensuring maximum voter interaction.
Taking advantage of the weekend holidays, the candidates received an enthusiastic response from residents, especially during society-level meetings held from early morning hours.
Several housing society members acknowledged that comprehensive development in Pimple Saudagar has taken place due to the BJP governments at both the Centre and the State. Improvements in road infrastructure, water supply, sanitation, security, and essential civic amenities were highlighted as key reasons for continued support to the BJP.
Reiterating the party’s commitment, Shatrughan Kate stated,
“Development, safety, and good governance for every resident of Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani remain our top priorities. We will live up to the trust placed in us and ensure that all four BJP candidates from Ward No. 28 are elected with a strong mandate.”
